Better than .500 last week, I went 8-6 improving my season record to 45-33. Here are my week 6 Moneyline Pick’ems!
The Broncos have the worst defense in the NFL, I think Mahomes leads the Chiefs to a win by spreading the ball around and has himself a day by throwing for 400 yards and 4 TDs. I think Titans vs Ravens could go either way. Both teams lost to teams they should have beat last week. I’m taking the Titans, because I’m giving them the slight edge with home field advantage.I knew the Commanders were pretenders, called it. The Falcons are starting to get a passing game to go along with their running game and I think they dominate the line of scrimmage and win this one. Well, I don’t know what to say about the Vikings this year, I picked them to win a wide open division, but they just can’t seem to get anything going. Then add in the fact that they just lost Justin Jefferson for at least 4 weeks, it just seems like a sad story for a team that could have made a real run. But, I haven’t given up on them just yet. I’m predicting that they get Alexander Mattison and Cam Akers going and beat the Bears with a run heavy approach. The Joe Burrow to Ja’Marr Chase connection is back, and that means the Bengals are back. Bengals keep it going in a shootout victory over the Seahawks. The 49ers don’t just keep on winning, they keep on dominating. So I’m done picking against them until they give me a reason to, which may actually never happen this year. The Panthers are awful, so picking the Dolphins is a no brainer. Gardner Minshew is going to be the starter for awhile, and in my opinion that makes the Colts a tougher team to beat. Jonathan Taylor gets going and proves why he deserved that big contract in a close win vs their division rivals.I could see the Texans getting an upset here, but I think Derek Carr is starting to get in a grove. So, I’m taking the Saints. I keep picking the Patriots and they keep losing. On paper they are a better team than the Raiders, so they should win, shouldn’t they, maybe? My Bucs keep on rolling post Tom-Brady-Who? Rams improve to 3-3. Stafford has a pretty nice WR room now, with Cooper Kupp back and the rise of Puka Nacua. Rams said ‘F’ those draft picks and ended up with two steals since then with Nacua and Kyren Williams.I can’t pick against the Eagles and that defense, especially against Zack Wilson who has overstayed his welcome in the NFL. The same concept applies for my Bills pick vs the Giants and Danny Dimes. Except, the Giants may actually have a chance to win if Daniel Jones can’t play. The Cowboys just got embarrassed vs the 49ers. The Chargers are coming off a bye week, and I think Austin Ekeler plays in this one. I’m taking the Chargers in a high scoring Monday Night Football game even if Ekeler misses another one.
