AFC East
BUFFALO BILLS
The Bills have the most talented offense in the AFC East, yes even better than the Dolphins. The Bills finally found their guy at RB in James Cook. Stefon Diggs is still elite. Gabe Davis is going to finally live up to the hype and be that guy that he was supposed to be last year. They have the bash brothers at TE in Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid. A solid offensive line and depth at RB with Latavius Murray and Damien Harris. And they have the best QB in the division, Josh Allen. The Bills also have a solid defense that has only given up 32 points total after week two.
AFC North
CINCINNATI BENGALS
The Cincinnati Bengals will eventually figure it out and win the division. Starting 0-2 and 0-2 in the division will make that a lot harder, but I think they can still do it. Joe Burrow basically didn’t have an off-season and hasn’t had a lot of time to jell with his WRs. But they still have a solid defense, and 3 ballers at WR (Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd) and an upgrade at the TE position, Irv Smith Jr. And Joe Mixon is still a beast. The Bengals will turn it around vs the Rams and keep building on that game.
AFC South
TENNESSEE TITANS
I was betting on the Titans to win the division before they got DeAndre Hopkins. The Texans and Colts are just not very good this year and I’m not buying into the Jaguars hype. The Titans will continue to run the ball with Derek Henry and play good defense. That will be enough to take the AFC South.
AFC West
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
The Kansas City Chiefs have the best QB and TE in football right now. And they have one of the most underrated defenses as well and they made some great offseason moves to improve that side of the ball, like signing Drue Tranquil and Mike Edwards and they made Chris Jones happy. And did I mention Patrick Mahomes?
NFC East
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
The Eagles may very well be in the Super Bowl again this year. For some reason, the rest of the NFL keeps letting them draft as many Georgia defensive players as they want. Jalen Hurts is still accurate and AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert are still difference makers on offense. And they are deep at RB this year, they have Kenneth Gainwell, D’Andre Swift, Boston Scott and Rashaad Penny. I wouldn’t be surprised if all four end the year with at least one 100 yard rushing game a piece. And that offensive line led by Jason Kelce is a top 5 Oline in the league.
NFC North
MINNESOTA VIKINGS
The Vikings offense is too good to not win the NFC North this year. The Lions are extremely overrated, I mean come on people, it’s Detroit. Green Bay has a new QB, and even though Jordan Love has started hot, he ain’t it. And don’t get me started on Chicago, LOL. The Vikings just need to start playing a little bit of defense and pick up another RB and they’ll be fine. They may be trading for Cam Akers, but they should go sign Leonard Fournette.
NFC South
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
I can’t wait to say, “I TOLD YOU SO”. I had been saying Baker was going to have a break out year and the Bucs would win the division. The Panthers are awful, the Falcons are pretenders and the Saints have Derek Carr. It seems like no one but me watched the Bucs offseason this year and Jason Licht needs GM of the year if the Bucs win their division. Being over 40 mil in the cap hole they still brought in safety Ryan Neal, DT Greg Gaines, OG Matt Feiler, and resigned William Gholston. He also talked Devin White back into the building. Even though, Mike Evans ended negotiations he’s still playing at a high level and when the Bucs win the NFC South again and make the playoffs, I think Evans gives them another chance at contract negotiations. Fire them cannons!
NFC West
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
This is another crazy pick right? I mean the 49ers should be the pick here, right? Wrong. The 49ers can’t seem to stay healthy, maybe it’s the offensive scheme they run or the city they play in that’s covered in homeless people’s doo-doo. Regardless, Geno Smith is good now, maybe even great. DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are studs and they have soon to be stud Jaxon Smith-Njigba. They also have Kenneth Walker at RB, and he’s the real deal. And the defense looks good too. Pete Carroll can still coach and he and the Seahawks will win the NFC West.
And I put my money where my mouth is.
