My Review
One of my brother in laws got me the Arturo Fuente Hemingway Masterpiece Natural for my birthday and he also got me one for my daughter’s baby shower last year. It’s crazy she’s only a few months away from her first birthday. Time sure does fly.
Today I smoked this bad boy while getting the charcoal grill fired up to grill some pork chops that had been soaking in some Caribbean Jerk marinade all day. In my opinion, this cigar is a perfect stogie for grilling. It’s not too strong not too mellow, it is just right, especially when outside on a nice sunny day with the grill fired up.
The Arturo Fuente Hemingway Masterpiece Natural tastes of cedar, spice, has hints of leather and is a little sweet. I believe most of the sweetness and spiciness comes from the Cameroon wrapper, which you’re either a fan of or not. I’m gonna say that I’m a big fan of this wrapper.
I really like the torpedo style wrapping of this cigar and for all cigars that do it, for that matter. You always get the perfect burn on a torpedo wrapped stogie, or at least I always have. I don’t think I’m doing anything special when lighting them; I just think that’s what makes torpedoes so darn good. I usually get a good draw from this style as well, and for this stogie in particular, it was a perfect 5 out of 5 stars for both draw and burn. Take a look at the picture above, look at that ash! Would ya just look at it, just look at it!
The fact that these cigars are typically very hard to find, should be enough for you to get one, if you ever come across one. The cigar is 9 inches long and is a solid smoke. If you ever find one of these bad boys, get a couple and you won’t be disappointed.
