My Review
I’m going to sound very biased in this review because this cigar is my favorite stogie that I have smoked to date. The Sun Grown Maduro is boxed pressed, which in my opinion is the best way to go and it has so much flavor it’s crazy. If you like full-bodied cigars then you need to try the Sun Grown Maduro by Rocky Patel.
From start to finish this cigar is a 5 out of 5 stars and I haven’t had a bad one yet. You get a lot of flavors when smoking this cigar, you get a little sweetness from the wrapper and some hints of nuttiness, chocolate and a little earthiness from the filler. Some people may not like this cigar especially if you are not a fan of strong cigars, but if you are this cigar will become one of your top 5 favorites.
The first time I bought this cigar was at The Wharf in Beavercreek, OH and has quickly become my favorite. When my birthday or Christmas comes around and people ask what I would like, these stogies are at the top of my list. I like to smoke them on a nice warm and breezy day where you’ve got nothing to do but relax, because when smoking this cigar that’s all you want to do.
